On August 31, 2026, at 1:00 PM, an online coordination meeting was convened among the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the National Unity Government (NUG), the Mandalay Interim Governing Council (MIGC), and the Mandalay Interim University Councils to openly discuss regional educational affairs.
Attendees:
Ministry of Education (NUG): Union Minister Dr. Ja Htoi Pan, alongside key ministry personnel and education officials.
Mandalay Interim Governing Council (MIGC): Chairman U Myint Aung Moe, Vice-Chairman U Aung Myo Latt, Department Head of Education U Myint, Council members, and staff.
Interim University Councils: Professors, educators, and representatives from interim university councils across the Mandalay Region.
