The Department of Education, Mandalay Interim Governing Council (MIGC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE, NUG), is dedicated to ensuring that no child’s education is interrupted by conflict or displacement. Our vision is to build a resilient, accessible, and inclusive educational framework that provides safe and quality learning opportunities for all students across the Mandalay Region.

Through flexible distance-learning platforms, community-supported learning centers, and emergency educational support, we empower over 10,000 displaced children with basic and secondary education. By integrating modern digital tools, context-sensitive curricula, and dedicated local educators, we strive to safeguard the right to education and foster a brighter, more equitable future for the next generation.
